Welcome to the Fountain Valley Magazine's Readers Contest!

Each month we are posting a new contest for our readers. The winning entry will receive a special prize from one of our Fountain Valley businesses.

The winners for the February contest were Mark and Kirsten Winthrop who correctly identified October 7, 1984 as date that the Fountain Valley Drive-in closed. They win two free passes to Boomers in Fountain Valley.

Our question for the March contest is:

Who was the first Mayor of Fountain Valley, and what made this nationally significant?

The winner will receive one free hour of computer services from Computer Geeks on Brookhurst in Fountain Valley. (Offer is for labor only, and does not include parts.) Use this for a computer check up, upgrade, etc.!
